Here are some memories from the Salute to American Veterans Rally & Festival. Each year, tens of thousands of veterans, active duty military, bikers, and American patriots gather to pay tribute to those who sacrificed their lives and freedom so that we may enjoy ours.

The 9/11 Motorcycle Tribute Parade turned out to be a huge fundraiser to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Supporters came to pay their respects for those affected by these tragedies and to honor the life of former Colorado Springs motorcyclist, Roy Jackson.

Leaving from Pikes Peak Harley-Davidson in Colorado Springs, the parade was assisted by a rolling police escort. Later, riders enjoyed Howard's Pit BBQ, live music from Common Ground and the Miller Beer Garden courtesy of the Rocky Mountain Motorcycle Museum.

Pro-Promotions' annual High Country Toy Run collected thousands of dollars and thousands of toys for the United Sates Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.

Mother Nature smiled on us all with beautiful weather as we filled 2 giant Military trucks to the top. The folks at Cowboys Nightclub were our gracious hosts in Colorado Springs for the end of the run party.

Annually, firefighters ride across the United States to the National Firefighters Memorial in Colorado Springs. Pro-Promotions, Inc assists a huge parade, including motorcycles and numerous fire apparatus, which is escorted by CSPD.

The first annual The Good, The Bad and the BBQ Barbeque and Chili Cookoff took place at Pikes Peak Harley-Davidson on October 8, 2005. The weather couldn't have been better for this awesome event! The perfect Indian summer day brought 1,500 people to Pikes Peak Harley-Davidson to sample many different entries of BBQ, Red Chili and Green Chili. Music was provided by Mass Effect and the Miller Genuine Draft and Coors Light beer garden cooled many people off after they tried the spicy green chili!

Jackson was a member of the Colorado Springs motorcycle community, as well as a manager at Pikes Peak Harley-Davidson who was killed in a motorcycle accident.

For the past 15 years, Pro-Promotions' annual "Super Show & Swap Meet" has been the largest indoor event of it's kind in southern Colorado. Owners and builders of the finest custom and classic iron, both two-wheel and four-wheel, come to Colorado Springs to display their pride and joy.

More than 10,000 spectators show up over a two-day period to view these great machines. Vendors fill the remainder of the 125,000 square foot show, selling everything from motorcycle parts to leather, and automotive accessories to custom paint work.

Live music, food, cold beer, and contests abound, highlighted by the annual Colorado Tattoo Competition on Sunday. Kids enjoy the scale model competition and the coloring contest.

Each year, one lucky spectator goes home with the grand door prize: a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, Buell motorcycle, or a new ATV!

Run for the Wall is the annual motorcycle sojourn from Los Angeles, California to Washington, DC. In DC, Run for the Wall joins the Rolling Thunder Parade Ride to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. When Run for the Wall stops in Colorado Springs, Pro-Promotions is proud to organize a welcome ceremony for the riders which rivals any from coast to coast.

Pikes Peak Harley-Davidson makes sure that all the riders are fed, and fueled free of charge. In fact, no Run for the Wall participant has paid for food or fuel in Colorado from border to border for the past several years.

As avid supporters of the United States Military, and founders of the annual Veterans Rally in Cripple Creek and the POW/MIA Recognition Ride, the staff of Pro-Promotions were invited by the Commanding General at Ft. Carson, Colorado to tour the base.

The day of adventure included a ride in a Bradley fighting vehicle, the operation of an Abrahm's tank, and delicious lunch of military MRE™s (meals ready to eat). Pro-Promotions staff also got to "play" in two different interactive combat simulators, fire a full auto M240B .308 caliber machine gun, and observe attack helicopters fire turret guns and missiles.

Each year, the Easyriders Magazine Bike Show Tour comes to Denver. Pro-Promotions is proud to be a part of this annual event. Being invited to display some of our custom and antique motorcycles is a great honor. Sharing the floor with builders like Billy Lane, and Jesse Rook is a humbling experience.

In 2004, Pro-Promotions and High Country Custom Cycles brought home trophies in the antique and custom classes, as well as winning the best display trophy for our Johnny Cash tribute bike.

The prestigious Cherry Creek Arts Festival in Denver has included a motorcycle art display for the past few years. In 2004, David Mann was the featured artist. Mann is the most recognized author of biker lifestyle artwork worldwide.

The annual High Country Barndance, BBQ and Motorcycle Show is a traditional biker party with live music, food, beer, ride-in bike show and motorcycle rodeo games. The party has been a Colorado Springs favorite for 17 years. Pro-Promotions is proud to have organized this event since it’s beginning in 1988.
